Good location on a long drive through France. The staff were attentive and efficient. Good car parking. The rooms were clean and adequate. Good communication before and after our stay when we discovered we had forgotten a charger. The town was sweet and the hotels position meant we could have a walk in the morning before we left.

Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and well equipped with plenty of plugs, including USB ports in the room. They also have a kettle in the room, unlike a lot of French hotels, but there was also a coffee machine in the foyer/dining room. We were on motorbikes, and they allowed us to park in the courtyard, and our room (number 8) was directly above, so perfect for us.

Nice quiet location beside the mill stream .. good free parking across the street. Dinner available at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and courteous.

A very warm welcome from the staff, they couldn’t have been more helpful throughout. We had a very good evening meal and an outstanding breakfast (almost all home made), probably the best small hotel breakfast I’ve had. I’d have no reservations about returning. I can’t quite understand some of the negative comments in a couple of other reviews, I couldn’t find any.

The staff were exceptional. Tom, Athena and Nichola are some of the most helpful hotel staff I've ever experienced. They helped me with my french language, recommended great places to eat at fair (non tourist) prices and even organised a return taxi journey for me for my evening out. To say these guys went the extra mile would be an understatement. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and had great views of the river and beautiful stone bridges. Parking was easy and convenient for the hotels front door. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and again with great views of the river. All in all a truly amazing experience.

Nestled on the banks of the River Selune, the Best Western Le Moulin de Ducey charmed me from the moment I arrived. This beautifully converted mill offered a perfect blend of rustic character and modern comfort. My room boasted a delightful river view, the gentle murmur of the water a constant source of tranquility. The room itself was small, but spotless and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Free parking was also a big plus.

The location of the hotel really is wonderful on the riverbank. Our bedrooms overlooked the river and the sound of the cascading water was so relaxing. The bedrooms were newly renovated and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The 3-course dinner is very good and excellent value. Ducey is a lovely and tranquil town. Great stay.

There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. It looks great, everything was great and from this location you can reach a lot of sights by car easily. They serve dinner, but we decided to go to a different restaurant in the village, which turned out to be delicious. We had our breakfast here, which was also perfect.

Location: hotel in beautiful setting on a river, in a gorgeous little village. Comfortable room, ensuite with separate toilet. Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner available. Plenty of parking across road.
